Storyboard first. Animation second.
Animation is the expensive part, so we settle the story and the look in still frames first. You approve those, then we animate. Changes after that are possible, but this way they rarely need to happen.
Brief & storyboard
We agree on what the animation has to explain and who it's for, then sketch it frame by frame. Length, format and where it will live get decided here, because a homepage hero and a launch post have different needs.
Style frames
The key moments designed in full detail, using your brand and product screens. This is the look: color, type and layout. You approve it before anything moves.
Animation
We animate to the approved frames. Timing and easing, plus the small movements that make it feel intentional. You review a draft before we finalize.
Delivery
Final files exported for where they'll live: Lottie for your site, video for social and decks, plus the project files. Web animations are tested for weight and performance before they go near your homepage.

Motion asset
One animation, done properly. A homepage hero, a product walkthrough, a logo reveal or a short piece for social. Storyboarded, styled and animated, then delivered in the format it will actually live in.
- A short intro call to agree what it has to explain
- A storyboard for your approval before any animation starts
- Style frames using your brand and product screens
- One animation, with length scoped on the intro call
- Delivered in the formats it needs: Lottie for web, MP4 for social and decks
- Project files, yours to keep
- Direct Slack access to our team
- One round of revisions on the animation
Motion pack
A set of animations that clearly belong together. Built from one visual language, so the hero on your homepage, the walkthrough in your product and the clip on LinkedIn all move the same way.
- A 60-minute workshop to agree how your brand should move
- Storyboards for every asset, approved before animation starts
- Shared style frames across the set, so it reads as one piece of work
- Delivered in the formats each piece needs: Lottie for web, MP4 for social and decks
- Project files, yours to keep
- Direct Slack access to our team
- Two rounds of revisions on the animation
From AI platforms raising Series A to fintech startups launching in regulated markets, we support teams when timing matters.

Frequently asked questions
Is your question not listed here?
Please get in touch at hello@bhong.com
What kind of motion design do you do?
Website animation (hero sections, scroll effects, product walkthroughs), interface motion, logo and brand animation, and short pieces for social and launches. If it moves on a screen and helps someone understand your product, it's probably in scope.
How much does motion design cost?
A single animation starts at $900. A motion pack, a set of animations built from one visual language, starts at $5,000. Final price depends on length and complexity, and we quote a fixed number once we've seen the brief.
Will animations slow down our website?
They shouldn't, and we treat it as part of the brief. Web animations are built light (Lottie, not a 20MB video background) and tested on a mid-range phone before they ship. If an effect costs more in load time than it earns in attention, we'll say so and suggest something cheaper.
We don't have brand guidelines yet. Can you still animate for us?
Yes, but the animation will only be as good as the brand underneath it. If your colors, type and logo are settled, we work from those. If they aren't, we can sort the basics first or pair this with our branding service, which beats animating something you'll redesign in six months.
Can you build the animation into our website?
Yes. We deliver Lottie files with implementation notes for your developers, or our website development service builds it straight into the Webflow site. Either way, we check it on the live page, not just in the preview.
How many revisions do we get?
One round of revisions on the animation for a single asset, two for a motion pack. Storyboard and style frame feedback comes before that, and it's where changes are quickest, so that's where most of it belongs.
How long does a motion project take?
It depends on the length, how many assets are in the set and whether anything has to be created before it can be animated, like illustrations or UI screens. We give you a date with the quote, once we've seen the brief. Feedback speed matters too: a two-day wait on an approval is a two-day delay.
